[Virtual Event] IaCConf Spotlight: Designing IaC Interfaces | July 14
Teams racing to ship AI-generated infrastructure code with no scrutiny are confronting the AI Governance Paradox. Read the report to learn how leading organizations close the gap and govern AI-accelerated infrastructure at scale.

86% of infrastructure leaders are confident in their AI governance. Only 30% have a formal policy in place.
We surveyed over 400 infrastructure decision makers to understand who’s actually ready for AI-accelerated infrastructure and who just thinks they are. Our AI Maturity Index (AIMI) segments organizations into four stages: Exposed, Fragmented, Outpacing, and Pioneer.
Pioneers are getting the most from AI because they are:

93% of organizations have experienced at least one AI-caused infrastructure incident.
Governance suffers when AI-generated code ships without review. Right now, 78% of organizations use AI to generate IaC without review. With 76% willing to apply AI-generated Terraform to production with little to no scrutiny, vibe coding has fully penetrated the infrastructure layer, resulting in security misconfigurations that reach production, compliance violations, infrastructure drift, and incidents caused by agents.

Pioneers use AI to generate IaC at higher rates than Exposed organizations (86% vs 69%.) The difference is that they do it inside governed pipelines.
Pioneers understand that governance doesn’t slow you down; it’s what makes speed sustainable. They built formal policies, automated validation, and platform engineering before AI arrived, giving them the structure to absorb AI-generated code safely at scale. Among Pioneers, 43% are already planning agentic AI adoption within six months, with governance infrastructure already in place.

The playbook isn’t a secret. Read our report to learn exactly what separates Pioneer organizations from the rest, and the five steps any organization can take to close the AI readiness gap.
