General Pricing Questions
Spacelift is priced in United States Dollars (USD).
We accept payment in various forms depending on the type of plan you choose. For example, the Cloud Plan can be paid for via a credit card and a charge for the subscription is made monthly. For an Enterprise Plan, payment can be made in two ways; either via purchase order and invoice or with a credit card on a monthly or annual basis. Spacelift can also be purchased and paid via the AWS marketplace. See additional information below.
A worker is a predefined set of compute resources that are specifically optimized for the development, and provisioning and deployment of cloud-based infrastructures based on IaC. Spacelift provides two types of workers: public and private. Free and Cloud both provide access to public workers. Enterprise supports private workers as well as providing access to public workers.
Public workers are a type of worker that is provided and managed by Spacelift in a common secure worker pool. Each customer run is executed in its own isolated container instance. Although the underlying compute resources within the public worker pool are shared, runs do not have any access to the source or state of other accounts.
Private workers are a type of worker that are provided and managed by Spacelift, but are hosted as a customer managed asset within their private cloud environment. They are securely connected to the Spacelift application for provisioning and management.
While the license count of an annual subscription cannot be lowered if license usage is less than anticipated, please contact sales@spacelift.io and we will be happy to work with you. If you are uncertain at the beginning of the contract about how many licenses you need, we recommend that you start with the default number and purchase additional seats or workers as required. Another option is to start with a monthly contract and convert to an annual subscription.
Yes, both Cloud and Enterprise plans can be purchased as multi-year subscriptions. Please reach out to the Spacelift Sales team at sales@spacelift.io to discuss multi-year agreements.
